International Tax Director
Jim Miesowicz began his career with the firm in 2007. He has over 19 years of experience in public accounting, including significant tax experience with U.S. entities that are foreign owned. As an international tax director, his client experience ranges from small to medium size businesses, in a variety of industries, with a concentration in manufacturing and insurance. Jim assists with structuring U.S. business operations and investments for foreign based companies and individuals, and assists U.S. based companies structure business operations outside the U.S. Jim also assists with international inbound and outbound transactions.
Jim also worked in the automobile industry in the tax department of a tier-one supplier where he managed the financial reporting information for the tax provision, projections of the financial impact of future tax law changes, and assisted in the management of tax cash.
Jim assists foreign nationals with U.S. tax planning, compliance issues, and payroll reporting.
