Moore Stephens Doeren Mayhew’s Corporate Finance and Strategic Services Group
provides wide-ranging business consulting expertise geared to our
middle-market clients encompassing the interrelated areas of
strategic planning, merger and acquisition assistance, capital
sourcing, debt restructuring, company valuation, and litigation
damage analysis.
Strategic Planning and Business Plans
The Corporate Finance Group's planning capabilities take three
different forms:
- Strategic Planning. When long-range,
in-depth planning is called for, we structure the process, serve
as integrator, provide a fresh outside perspective, help resolve
inconsistencies, and document the findings and long-term goals.
- Business Plans/Operational Plans. We guide
management through setting concrete operational objectives and
specific initiatives, building detailed projections, and putting
it all together in a plan that will act as a road map to help
guide the client to success.
- Early-Stage Turnaround Assistance. We help
management identify root causes of poor or erratic performance
before the consequences become too severe, help develop a
specific plan of attack for each major issue, and encourage
management energies to be focused on issues that will count
most.
Mergers and Acquisitions
In the mergers and acquisitions area, we are not just transaction
oriented. Our corporate finance team is especially suited to
represent companies in both “sell-side” and “buy-side” acquisitions.
We encourage prospective buyers to have a sound strategic basis
for an acquisition, and to pre-think how it will fit. We bring
strategic skills that we believe are as important as transactional
skills.
In contrast to investment bankers and business brokers, we are
compensated on an hourly-fee basis only for what the client needs.
We feel we can provide the most candid unbiased advice when we are
not motivated to push a certain deal simply to earn a commission.
